Website and Software Development for Nonprofits, Foundations and NGOs

Donation flows that convert, reporting a donor can actually check, multilingual foundation sites, and a chatbot built for Ukraine's National Information Bureau to help families find relatives lost in the war.

About the Service

A nonprofit website has a harder job than a commercial one. It has to convince a stranger to send money for something they will never personally receive, and then keep convincing them — which means the donation button matters far less than what surrounds it: proof the organisation is real, evidence the last donation was spent as promised, and a story told well enough to be worth reading twice. Momentum Squads has built this kind of platform for Ukrainian foundations, NGOs and public institutions, several of them under wartime pressure.

The work centres on websites for nonprofits and NGOs: donation tooling, programme and impact presentation, transparent reporting, and the CRM integrations that keep donor records straight instead of scattered across spreadsheets. Where an organisation needs to reach people rather than be found by them, we add conversational channels — often the more reliable route when the audience is on a phone with a poor connection.

CharityMay is the full pattern: a robust multilingual site for a leading Ukrainian charity, integrating donation tools, programme showcases and CRM systems so fundraising and reporting run as one process rather than two. Multilingual is not decoration here — for a Ukrainian foundation, the donor and the beneficiary frequently do not read the same language.

My Home Fund helps residents of the Kyiv region rebuild homes damaged by the war. The site carries donation tools, programme detail and transparent reporting, and it is built to be trusted: for reconstruction funding, a donor's first question is not how to give but where the previous money went. Zemliachky takes the storytelling end — a site for the NGO supporting Ukrainian women defending their country, built around the heroines' own stories, fast donation conversion and transparent reporting.

The hardest brief we have taken in this sector was not a fundraising one. For Ukraine's National Information Bureau we built the chatbot for finding relatives lost in the war — a secure Viber channel through which families submit requests to locate loved ones, delivered to a government-grade security standard under urgent wartime deadlines. It is the clearest example of what this work actually demands: reliability when it matters most, and a channel people can reach from a phone with almost no connection.

An honest note on scope. We are a software company, not a fundraising agency: we do not run donor acquisition campaigns, write grant applications or manage your communications. We are also not the right vendor for an organisation that needs a $200 template site — there are good options for that and we will say so. What we build is the platform for organisations whose reporting obligations, donation mechanics or reach genuinely exceed what a template can carry.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of organisations do you work with?
Charitable foundations, NGOs and public institutions. We have built for a leading Ukrainian charity (CharityMay), a housing reconstruction fund in the Kyiv region, an NGO supporting Ukrainian women on the frontline, and Ukraine's National Information Bureau. Several of those were delivered under wartime conditions and urgent deadlines, which is a specific kind of experience and not one we would claim lightly.
How do you make donors trust the site?
Transparent reporting, mostly — and building it in rather than bolting it on. Every foundation platform above carries programme detail and reporting a donor can actually check, because the second donation depends on evidence that the first was spent as promised. The donation button is the easy part; what surrounds it decides whether it gets pressed.
Which payment methods can you support for donations?
Card payments, recurring donations and local providers are all standard, and where a project needs more we have gone considerably further — the Felen platform we built processes both fiat and cryptocurrency through a custom aggregator. For a foundation the more important question is usually recurring giving and the accounting trail behind it, not exotic payment methods.
Can we manage the content ourselves?
Yes, and for a nonprofit that is not optional. Programmes change, reports are published monthly, campaigns run on their own schedule, and none of that should require a developer or a support ticket. We hand over an admin panel covering what your team should genuinely be able to change alone, and we are explicit at the start about what stays with us.
Do you work with multiple languages?
Yes. CharityMay is multilingual, and this site itself runs in three. For a Ukrainian foundation it is often structural rather than cosmetic: the donor and the beneficiary do not read the same language, so the site is really two audiences on one platform, with different tone, different proof and sometimes a different call to action.
Can you integrate with our CRM or donor database?
Yes — CharityMay integrates donation tools with CRM so fundraising and reporting are one process instead of two exports and a spreadsheet. This matters more for nonprofits than most sectors, because donor records feed your reporting obligations directly. If your CRM exposes an API or a structured export, we can build against it.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits?
We scope to the budget rather than discount the rate, which we think is the more honest version of the same thing. That usually means being direct about what to build first and what can wait a year — a foundation site that launches with donations and reporting and adds the programme catalogue later is a better outcome than one that stalls waiting for the full scope.
How long does a foundation website take?
A focused donation and reporting site moves quickly; the timeline stretches when there are payment providers to certify, a CRM to integrate, or multilingual content that has to be written rather than translated — and content is the step that most often sets the real date. We have delivered under genuinely urgent deadlines when the situation demanded it, including for the National Information Bureau, but we would rather agree a realistic date than promise an urgent one twice.
